What is InterviewAnswerAi?
InterviewAnswerAi is a desktop (Electron) assistant that runs alongside your meetings and interviews. It does not join calls as a bot. You capture what is on screen or record audio from the session, and the app turns that into structured help—summaries, suggested answers, reasoning when relevant, and follow-up chat tied to each session.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign in through the app’s secure desktop login flow so your sessions, conversation history, and profile stay synced with the InterviewAnswerAi backend.
How do screenshots, recording, and answers work?
From Home you start or open a session, then use the session window to capture screenshots or start/stop listening for audio (system/display capture depends on your OS). Queue captures, then submit with Send or Ctrl/Cmd+Enter. You can stack multiple screenshots, reset the session view when you want a clean run, and continue with chat in the same thread.
What are profile instructions and CV?
In Settings you can manage custom instructions and CV or resume text (including uploads). Whichever instruction and CV you mark active are sent with AI requests so replies match your role, stack, and how you want to sound.
What do Detectable and Undetectable mean?
On Home you can toggle how visible the app is to screen-capture and recording APIs—standard visibility versus a lower-profile mode. OS security rules still apply; some fullscreen or hardened environments may limit overlays or capture regardless of this setting.
Does it work with Zoom, Meet, Teams, and other tools?
Yes. The app runs next to your desktop meeting clients; it does not need to be invited to the conference. Always follow your employer’s, school’s, or platform’s policies and terms when using assistance software.
Which platforms and shortcuts are supported?
We ship desktop builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Examples from the in-app shortcut reference: hide/show windows with Ctrl/Cmd+H, capture a screenshot into the session with Shift+Ctrl/Cmd+I, start or stop listening with Shift+Ctrl/Cmd+M, reset the session view with Ctrl/Cmd+R, and submit or process the queue with Ctrl/Cmd+Enter. On Apple keyboards use ⌘ instead of Ctrl.
Is there a free trial or pricing?
